About the bindery

We started binding books for friends and kept going. Everything is cut, folded and sewn by hand, using long-stitch and coptic bindings that open flat.

Paper comes from a small mill, thread is unbleached linen, and covers are waxed canvas or leather offcuts from a local workshop.

We do not keep a warehouse. When a batch is gone, the next one follows a few weeks later.
